Speed
The maximum speed that Telecom will be expanding to 4G networks is 130 Mbp / s. The maximum speed is only 32 Mbps when upgrading to 3G and making 4G. Currently, the maximum speed of limited telecom 4G service in Kathmandu and Pokhara is only 32 Mbps. Therefore, the speed of the 4G telecoms is going to expand.
VOLTE
This feature, called Voice over LTE, will make the quality of voice calls over mobile networks. The speed of the data will also increase as the speed of the data. This will also reduce the time taken for the phone. Also, this feature does not require a third app to make video calls.

VoIP
The convenience of this is also voice over WiFi. VOWIFI is an extended version of VOLTE. One of the biggest features of this phone is to access the phone without the support of Wi-Fi network. If there is a low or no mobile network at any place, but if there is a mobile connection on Wi-Fi, then this feature is the ability to call another mobile number with the help of WiFi. Most of the current top 20 thousand smartphones support this technology. In India, some mobile service providers including Jio have just launched this technology as a test.
Self Organizing Network
Telecom's 4G network will have fully automated self organizing network (SON) technology. This means that if there is a problem with a BTS tower and there is a disturbance on the network, the next BTS tower will recognize the problem and provide the network to the mobile outside its area. It will be a fully automated technology, Telecom said.
Tower
According to the telecom, about 3,000 small towers will be set up to facilitate the network in areas with dense settlements and large houses during foggy expansion. There will be such small towers in the main cities of the country including the Kathmandu Valley. Such towers will help strengthen the network. This is done to solve the problem of not having a phone in the underground floor of the house, where the phone is not heard properly in a crowded area.
5G Readiness
Fujii's network, which will expand telecommunications across the country, will also be suitable for expanding Fiji. After the 4G expansion across the country, the telecom will test the Fifi network in Pokhara, Nepalgunj and Biratnagar along with Kathmandu as a test. The fiveG network is still in the testing phase.
Who got the contract?
Hong Kong-based China Communication Services International (CCSI) has the task of expanding the Core Network by Radio Access Network (RAN) and ZTE. The core network works to establish communication between the telecom towers, while the radio access network connects the tower with the customer's phone.
Now 4G
Now the upgrade to the 3G network is provided by Nepal Telecom and Ncell. Telecom had launched 4G service in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Although Telecom has launched 4G for the first time in Nepal, private sector service provider Ncell, which started 4G services, has expanded its service to 24 more cities.
