Money rained on foreigners but not a single Indian is in the top 6

All the top 6 players who spent money in the IPL 2020 auction were foreign players. These players include three players from Australia, two West Indies and one from South Africa. Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins was bought for Rs 15.50 crore. Not a single Indian is named in the top 6 players of this list, which is very surprising. Leg spinner Piyush Chawla was the highest bidder among the Indian players in the auction. Chennai Super Kings bid Rs 6.75 crore for Chawla. Chris Morris (Royal Challengers Bangalore) 10 crores (base price 1.5 crores): South Africa's Chris Morris, who played for Delhi last season, will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore this season. Bengaluru has spent 10 crores for them. His base price was 1.50 crores.
