Barcelona and Real Madrid leave the 'Copa del Rey'

Barcelona and Real Madrid have lost in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey football. Barcelona lost to Atletico Bilbao and Real Madrid with Real Sociedad in Thursday night's game.

Barcelona lost 1-0 to Atletico Bilbao. Barsa's dream of reaching the finals of Copa del Rey seven times in a row was limited to the quarterfinals.

In the extra time of the game, Sergio Busquet's suicide goal was enough to push Barcelona out of the competition. In the next game, Real Madrid were defeated by Real Sociedad 4–3.

Sociedad's Martin Odigard made it home from the quarterfinals with Real Madrid scoring against Maui Club. Soccidad was the first goal of the Norwegian midfielder, who was on loan for two years.

Alexander Isaac worked to double Socidad's lead. Two minutes later, Isaac added another goal to give Sociedad a 3-0 lead.

Marcelo and Rodrigo showed hope for a comeback goal for the Madrid club. Mikel Moreno added a goal on behalf of Sociedad. At the end of the game, Nacho scored the goal to reduce Real's defeat gap.

Zinedine Zidane's team is in the top spot of La Liga. The Madrid club has scored just 13 goals in 22 games. And in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey, the Madrid club reached the goal by 4 goals. The Madrid club was undefeated in 21 games.

For the first time since 2010, the Copa del Rey final will be without Barcelona and Real Madrid.
